GED FEES &
REQUIREMENTS

Please read through the requirements and testing fees information prior to coming in for testing to insure you have all the proper identification, paperwork and payment in order to begin testing.

REQUIREMENTS:
Examinees must be 16 years of age or older to begin GED testing.  Examinees 16, 17 & 18 years of age MUST have one of the following forms BEFORE they can begin testing:
1.  A waiver from the last school attended titled "Request for Approval to Test for General Educational Development (GED) Diploma."     more info on waiver   OR;
2.  A letter of enrollment from a certified education center.  OR;
3.  An official notarized letter of home school prepared by a Notary Public.     more info about form & notaries


PHOTO I.D.:
NO I.D. = NO TEST!  NO EXCEPTIONS!

One piece of valid photo I.D. including date of birth and signature is required for every testing session.  Please contact us with ID questions.  Acceptable forms of photo ID are:
Driver's License
State I.D. card
Tribal I.D.
Military I.D.
Passport (any country)
Resident Alien Card/Green Card
Matricula Consular-Mexican ID
High School ID cards are not accepted

TESTING FEES:
Fees are due before testing begins.
Tests 1-5: One payment of $75 preferred but paying $15 per test is possible.
Retakes: $15.00 each due before retesting begins.
Transcripts: One free upon completion of testing, additional transcripts are $10.00 each.

Payment can be made with cash, local check or money order made payable to United Indians.  Fees are due before testing begins and are non-refundable.

AGENCIES who wish to use payment vouchers or be billed for tests please contact us prior to sending testors for billing fees and information.  Vouchers can be issued in the amount of $80 to cover the 5 GED tests or $16 per individual test.

We are unable to waive testing fees for any reason.  If you are looking for financial assistance some schools and agencies that prepare people for GED testing are able to help pay for their clients testing fees.  Also if you have a caseworker at DSHS, WorkSource, WorkFirst or another agency, he or she  may be able to issue a voucher to pay for your testing.  Please contact us if you would like help with this.
You are only allowed to bring the testing materials we hand you and a beverage into the testing room.  Please leave all other non-essential items at home or in your car.  If you must bring them you will need to leave them  with the GED Examiner during testing.  No exceptions!  We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.  Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne when coming in for testing.

SMOKING, LOITERING, LOUD & DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR:

Smokers must go for a walk to smoke. Any smoking, loitering, littering, excessively loud or disruptive behavior in or around our building and the neighboring businesses will absoloutely not be tolerated and result in loss of all test privileges & test scores in addition to potential legal action.  This policy is strictly enforced!
