The Community Story, (which has taken form in a Report largely spearheaded by our own Janeen Comenote) is part of our ongoing effort to (1) survey issues, needs and patterns of Native people and to (2) integrate the Native voice into United Indians programming. Basically, the Report is a tool for exploring what is really happening and what is needed to make life better for everyone. We aim for this to be a very powerful tool for getting community members involved in thinking about and taking action on their own for the improvement of the quality of life for all.
