About HPP
Launched in 2017, UIATF’s Homelessness Prevention Program serves individuals and families who are at imminent risk of eviction through a strengths-based program of case management and financial assistance. Our funders include Washington State Department of Commerce, King County Regional Homelessness Authority, and Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections.
You may be eligible for financial assistance with rent or utility bills if you are income qualified. Contact us to learn more! We will conduct a brief assessment over the phone to see if you qualify for our program. To apply for UIATF’s Homelessness Prevention Program please email [email protected] or call 206-829-2247. PLEASE ALLOW 2-5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A RESPONSE.
Unfortunately we are not able to serve people who are currently experiencing homelessness. If you are homeless, call 2-1-1.
Tenant Services
Besides providing direct rent assistance, our Tenant Services program offers online workshops and 1:1 counseling for financial stability, making and keeping a budget, job hunting, Tenant/Landlord Laws and more. Ask about our free resource packets—just email or call us!
