We are honored to share that our friends at Mother Nation are sponsoring a beautiful addition to the 37th Annual Indian Days Powwow: The Yeha:wi Dance Special, taking place Sunday afternoon, July 19th, 2026.
Yeha:wi, pronounced yehawii, translates to “She is holding her sacred.” This meaningful special is open to all genders and dance styles within the adult category.
To bring visibility to domestic violence awareness, we invite participants to join the circle wearing purple regalia or accessories while we honor sisters healing from violence.
We hope you will come share in this powerful space of community, culture, and healing on July 17 -19th, at the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center!
